I was doing some market research to survey the Recreational Vehicle (RV) industry today. I came across some stunning results which seem oblivious to the oil crisis. My idea about RV's were that these huge motor homes (much like the one Shah Rukh Khan drives in Swades) were common place only among select households who could afford large houses in suburbia (discounting people who actually live in trailers).
According to the University of Michigan's 2006 market survey quoted in this consulting web page 225,000 R.V's were shipped in the first half of 2006. This was more than in any other similar period in the last 33 years. Plus U Mich reported that currently 1 out every 12 vehicle-owning households also own a RV. That is a cool 7.9 million Guzzly bears. A little math tells me that number is a little more than the total 2006 sales of Toyota, Ford, and Chevy.
The 2010 projections are that 1 out of 8 households will own a personal Guzzly bear - Generation X'ers continuing to be the prime movers of this bearish trend. With RV fuel averages at 7 to 14 mpg, do you think this is a trend worth celebrating?

guzzly bear?u meant grizzly? no?....
I guess men led a nomadic way of life long long ago-hunting for food and seeking shelter. Then the world yearned for roots and permanent foothold on land. And now the nomadic side in men stirs looking for something that they have not been able to find within,a restlessness that needs looking far and wide.RV sales show a change in men's thinking methinks.Or it is as simple as bonding with nature.
well that is surprising ....conidering that these vehicles would require large amount of gas to drive them around..
Interesting! I like one of those too...When I count more cash wanna own one
Well as on this it is bound to happen. Definitely can't celebrate and at the same time can't stop it. Every one wants betterment and for most things to be better for man nature suffers.
I'm the sort of hombre who enjoys to seek revolutionary things. Currently I am constructing my hold pv panels. I'm making it all by myself without the help of my men. I am utilizing the net as the only path to acheive this. I ran across a truly brilliant site which explains how to contruct pv panels and so on. The website explains all the steps required to solar panel construction.
I am not sure bout how correct the information given there iz. If some guys over here who had xp with these works can have a look and give your feedback in the page it will be great and I would extremely appreciate it, because I truly would love to try solar panel construction.
Thanks for reading this. U guys are the best.
Why is this blog lying empty and unused? I meant to write a comment as soon as possible. I would love to read more updates on this blog.
